In popular media, this imagined utopia is Wakanda. Wakanda is a world where people can live free of the oppression of our current society. Afrofuturism is an incredible concept that deserves to be showcased and brought to life.

Make Wakanda real means unifying people with different talents and skills and collaborating to build a greater works for future generations using the powrr of faith, courage, and audacity.

Together, by embracing these virtues and working collaboratively, we can channel the spirit of Wakanda, creating a world where everyone’s unique talents and abilities are celebrated, where innovation thrives, and where the potential of future generations knows no bounds. Overall, Wakanda means the curiosity of the unknown power of greatness.

When I hear the phrase, Make Wakanda Real, it makes me think about bringing unity and pride within the community. Black Panther made a cultural impact within the African diaspora, and this went further than the actual box offices. This film was part of a pivotal social movement and Wakanda represented a homeland of Black liberation. Making Wakanda into our reality is finding our roots and sense of identity. Having a like-minded community that you can rely on and being a positive representation that embodies empowerment.

To me, making Wakanda real means creating a space for marginalized groups to thrive in any and every form. To use and grow their talents, skills, and knowledge on whatever they feel so inclined to. I believe Wakanda to be a place where community is at the forefront and everyone shares their resources to collaborate and bring ideas to life!
