-went to school to learn radio broadcasting, buillt his own platform, began doing podcasts before they were called podcasts in 2006 with "Homegrown Radio"

-"Radio is an antiquated system"

-Radio works with a one way signal system, source and atenna, versus a digital system which is two way

-PPM, people meters monitor bandwith frequencies from your general vicinity, therefore, if someone turns off their radio for a few seconds to speak to someone, the loss of frequency can reflect as poor/low rating for a station or song

- A livestream for example, comes with more detailed analytics from location, to how many people, audience, etc.

-Radio is good for mass marketing, and the ability to talk to everyone, however with the antiquated system and new forms of media, radio "used to be the first stop, now it's the last."

-Radio takes you from steps 6-10, first you have to get through 1 -5.

- All the big personalities are on podcasts, what do you need the radio for?"

-"Podcasts have been the next step of media, not even just radioo, now video podcasts, its no longer linear, it has morphed into something else"

-podcasting is the futrue of conversation

-DJ Hed doesn't see anything else moving forward other than a collabrative place of communication and content (like fyi)
